Armando Luis studied medicine with a focus on surgery at the University of La Habana, Cuba. At the age of 27, he left his home country in pursuit of the American dream, determined to continue his training and career in the United States. Over the next 15 years, he gained extensive experience working in surgical, trauma, and intensive care units.
